We took over the running of Mexted Motors in December 2021 after having been in the business since 2015.
Our focus lies on continuing the strong relationship we have with our local customer, who we have been serving for nearly 100 years. A seamless customer experience is what we strive for.
Please feel free to contact me with any queries or issues you might have, I am always available to assist.
Came from the UK to my “true home” in 2006. When I’m not at work my passions are Karate, cycling, Motorcycling and being kept very active with my 3 Sons on the Kapiti Coast.
I’ve been with Mexteds for over a decade. I love the family environment and values we place on Customer service. Our goal is to make every customer interaction a pleasant one.
I was born in The Netherlands but I am proud to have grown up as a Kiwi in sunny Nelson.
For as long as I can remember my passion has been cars, so after finishing my studies I jumped at the opportunity to work in the automotive industry.
I'm lucky to work with the team here at Mexted Motors and strongly believe we offer the best service in the Lower North Island if not all of New Zealand.
After 6 years as a second hand dealer and pawnbroker, my friends and family were pleased to see me go down the straight and narrow and get an honest job as a car dealer. I’ve been fortunate enough to interact with people from all walks of life and I really enjoy helping people find what is best for themselves.
I suffer from a rare condition where I lose a hair from my head for every person that I give excellent customer service. When I’m not working I enjoy spending time with my girlfriend and taking our dog for walks around Johnsonville and up Mount Kaukau.
I have been at Mexted Motors since 2018, where I started as an apprentice and have progressed through to workshop controller.
I enjoy the team atmosphere here at Mexteds’ and working with a team where we all have the same goal of giving the customer the best possible experience. In my spare time I enjoy working on the vehicles I have at home or hanging out with my dogs, and my fiancé.
Hi, My name is Tayla,
I’ve been in the automotive industry for a couple of years now working at a few different workshops and studying automotive myself!
I’ve been with the Mexted team for about a year and have really found my home here everyone is so supportive, and they are a great team to work with.
I have been lucky enough to have grown up around cars as my dad owns a few cool old cars which has driven a very expensive car habit for me!
In my spare time I’m often found at home working away on my Subarus- I know, I chose the dark side!
I’m a Mitsubishi master technician and have been at Mexted Motors since 2007. I Have worked my way up through the ranks from an apprentice to foreman.
I have a strong passion for anything Mitsubishi and anything automotive, I have a collection of classic Mitsubishis ranging from a Lancer 2 door GSR rally car (Which you can find alongside my Final Edition Evolution in the Mexted showroom) to Mitsubishis old faithful l200/l300s. I live in Whitby with my family and on the weekends you will find me at whatever car show is on.
Emissions information is guidance on how environmentally friendly the vehicle is and whether a Clean Car Discount programme fee or rebate applies based on the CO2 rating. The lower the emissions - the higher the rebate, the higher the emissions - the higher the fee. Vehicles are only eligible for a rebate if sold for less than $80,000 including GST and on road costs and have a 3-star safety rating or above. The fees and rebates stated are estimates. The amount of the fee will be confirmed at the time of the first registration in New Zealand and the rebate will be confirmed upon application. For more information on vehicle Emissions and the Clean Car Discount programme, see https://www.rightcar.govt.nz
Energy Economy information is intended for comparative purposes. It is based on World Harmonised Light Vehicles Test Procedure 3 Phase (3P WLTP) standardised testing data that allows consumers to directly compare the emissions and fuel consumption of different vehicle makes and models. It does not necessarily represent the energy economy and/or electric range that will be achieved. The estimated annual cost is based on a vehicle travelling 14,000 km over a year and a nominated petrol, diesel and/or off-peak residential electricity price. Diesel costs include road user charges (RUC). Your actual cost per year, energy economy and or/EV range will vary for many reasons including driving styles, traffic and weather conditions, vehicles loading, vehicle maintenance and tyre pressures. For more information on vehicle Energy Economy, see https://rightcar.govt.nz/
Safety Ratings provide you with simple information about a vehicle’s safety performance and help you to stay safe on our roads. Almost every vehicle has a safety rating from 1 to 5 stars. This rating indicates how well the vehicle is likely to perform in a crash. Vehicles with 4 and 5 stars are the safest, while 1- and 2-star vehicles provide less protection in a crash. A vehicle will have one of the following Safety Ratings: Australasian New Car Assessment Program (ANCAP) rating, Used car safety rating (UCSR), or Vehicle safety risk rating (VSRR). For more information on vehicle Safety Ratings, see https://rightcar.govt.nz/
